FAQs:

  • The PCBC (Pohutukawa Coast Bike Club) have kindly closed the forest to bikes for this event, and we will have marshalls at certain points, however please note that there is a chance that bikers do ignore or don't know of the event. Please take care!
  • We recommend trail shoes if you are running either course. If you don't have those, road shoes with good grip. The forest tracks can be slippery if wet.
  • You can buy a yearly single or family pass from PCBC - please visit the PCBC Website.
  • Note that most of the tracks used in this event are NOT OPEN to walkers or runners at any other time.
  • There will be no 'bling' ie finishing medals - this is a low cost event organised in a short time frame.
  • There will be some event prizes and spot prizes
  • We expect to have a prize-giving at a venue to be determined 10.30-11.00am - probably near the start line
  • Yes dogs are allowed as long as they are kept on a lead and care is taken around other participants. Please pick up any poo your dog leaves.
